Chandler Hill

Well, I took the plunge today, I signed on with Chandler Hill Partners. They are a career development firm with the task of giving me a complete career makeover.

For people not in the know, in 1997, I lost my job at Nottingham Company and this began a downward spiral that continued until 2001 when I finally was hired by the IRS. I lost everything, apartment, car, furniture and I ended up living like a nomad for several years. This time, I am determined not to repeat that experience. I'm pulling out all of the stops, leaving not a stone unturned. I learned so much from that experience and I'm putting the lessons learned to good use.

That is why I putting a $5500 US financial outlay to this firm with the hopes that my career can get jump started quickly. I don't have much time because the longer I stay out, the less my value becomes. These companies play the games that they do because they know this and in 1997 I was completely blindsided - not this time!

I am keeping all options open and if I never return to product development, fine with me! I've been there and done that so it's time to turn the page onto to some fresh and clean - change I can believe in!
