Chandler Hill....a slight return

Well, I forked over the greenbacks today and signed with Chandler Hill Partners to do a "me" career make over. If the first meeting is any indication then the money is one that will be very well spent. My "career campaign manager" is one sharp woman and yes, she's a sista! It was almost as if she could read my every thought, my every move. She used to work at Coca-Cola in public relations and managed several political campaigns. In other words, she knows her stuff!

Yesterday I received a call from the outplacement firm that Georgia-Pacific uses for it's ex-employees. The result of the two conversations I had with their staff did not give me that "warm, fuzzy" feeling, in fact, comparing them to Chandler Hill is like comparing apples to oranges. The former firm is not going to get me where I want to go.

Sometimes you have to spend cash to make money.
