long summer days
of lost love ways
juana, ginko and
peace knobs fill the sky
lovers on a Saturday noon
ears attuned in full bloom
listening to rock tunes
on the ray de oh
rhythm and blues made me see
JB in man's world, but
when love died
so did the ray de oh
now
flourine iinsultants fill
the air with silicone chatter
one hit wonders
soak the charts
like strawberry jam
on pop tarts
singing faustian ballards
as the voodoo masses see
the world through
cheap sun glasses
so, play me again
another sample, Mr. Eel
and I'll sell more
snap
crackle
pop
and sex appeal
to the zombie woofs
